In the third period of the Carolina Hurricane’s season opener against the Philadelphia Flyers and we are down 2-0. The announcers were talking about the Flyer’s new acquisition in Chris Pronger and I realized I really hate the Philly pro sports teams. Here are the top 10 reasons why.

10. The Philly’s Green Mascot. WTF? I know a lot of Fanatics. They are not shaggy green carpets with snoots.
9. The 76′ers are not very good. Where are the Dr. J days in the Spectrum with the red-white-and-blue basketballs? (the one Philly team I actually kinda want to like)
8. Philly and the Canes like to trade players. Oh wait, we usually get the better end of that deal. You are our dumping ground.
7. Philly was smart enough to build all their sports complexes together. Not so much hate as envy.
6. The Philadelphia Soul isn’t around any more. That was a gift from New Jeresy.
5. Because they hate Santa Claus.
4. The Philly fans. They hate their own teams more than we do!
3. Chris Pronger is evil, dirty, cheap, pompus but unfortunately talented. Wish he would have stayed out west or moved to Detroit!
2. Cause it ain’t Pittsburgh!
1. The Eagles are in the NFC East. Nuff said. Go Cowboys!
